J.M. Weston x Roland-Garros 2024
MAY 2024
J.M. Weston has unveiled its new collaboration with the Roland-Garros label: three models of shoes, plus a belt and a pair of socks to celebrate the spirit of tennis.
At Roland-Garros, elegance is part of the game. It’s a ritual and a tradition that J.M. Weston gladly shares. Once again this year, the style of one of the world’s most eagerly awaited sporting events, held from 20th May to 9th June, will have an impact off the courts. The J.M. Weston X Roland-Garros collaboration features new must-have items: three models of shoes, a belt and a pair of socks that go beyond the spectators’ stands to enhance everyday wardrobes.
Made entirely in the Limoges facilities, the Moc’ J.M. Weston X Roland-Garros is a casual version of the emblematic 180 shoe. This loafer, softened by its Blake stitching, is crafted from blue grained calfskin with contrasting white elements. Clay-orange, the emblematic colour of the French tournament, adorns the edge and insole, where a tennis court is outlined in perspective.
The ‘1938 Slip On’ trainers, also made in Limoges, pay tribute to J.M. Weston’s sportswear heritage. This version – crafted from navy suede with contrasting topstitching, lined with clay-orange and adorned with the lines of a tennis court on the inside – is assembled on a lightweight and comfortable textured rubber sole.
Finally, the ‘On My Way Ghillies’ trainers showcase a play on materials and details to celebrate this wonderful collaboration: nylon mesh meets sporty and suede calfskin in white, blue and clay-orange hues. Both contemporary and lightweight, this model features a practical lacing system that means it can be slipped on at the speed of a smash!
Two accessories complete the collection: a braided ‘Signature’ belt in three-coloured elastic enhanced by navy calfskin and a palladium-finish brass buckle, and a pair of socks with clay-orange and blue stripes around the ankle, inspired by tennis wristbands.
