Olivier Saillard, Artistic Director of J.M. Weston
J.M. Weston is delighted to welcome Olivier Saillard as Artistic, Image and Culture Director. Olivier Saillard will be in charge of men’s and women’s shoes collections, accessories, and the House’s image. His initial inspirations will be unveiled in September 2018 when the new J.M.Weston flagship store opens at 55 avenue des Champs-Elysées in Paris. Since May 2010 Olivier Saillard has been Director of the Palais Galliera, where he has produced numerous exhibitions. He is also a fashion historian, exhibition curator, and performer. Olivier Saillard holds a degree in art history. In 1995 he was appointed as curator of the fashion museum in Marseille, where for five years he upended the rules governing the presentation of fashion in museums. In 2000 he became Programming Manager of fashion exhibitions at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. It was at this time that Olivier Saillard began to orchestrate performances garnering widespread coverage in the French and international media. Independent of his role as Art Director at J.M. Weston, Olivier Saillard will continue to develop artistic performances and collaborations for major organisations.
