J.M. Weston X UNIFORME

J.M. Weston is pleased to present its second exclusive collaboration with the menswear brand Uniforme.

For Spring-Summer 2023, J.M. Weston invited Uniforme founders Hugues Fauchard and Rémi Bats to revisit a house classic. First introduced in 1946, Weston's 180 moccasin — in fine box leather, with a durable and re-soleable Goodyear construction and a distinctive cut-out mouette (or "seagull") band on its upper — became a generational favorite both in France and overseas. 

Drawing on shared values of craftsmanship, sustainable sourcing and waste-free design, Uniforme gives that timeless style its own military-inspired, utilitarian twist: The versatile 180 "Wanderer" features contrasting white hand-stitching and thick "commando" notched rubber outsoles developed by J.M. Weston for comfort of wear in either urban settings or the great outdoors. Echoing the Uniforme ready-to-wear line, a discreet yet distinctive rectangular label appears over the back seam.

This new fashion staple comes in two versions: in black with a natural-toned rubber sole, or in a black-soled deep khaki shade.

To optimize resources and minimize waste, cuttings from these styles have been fashioned into lanyard key fobs with a protective cloche, an elegant and practical accessory in black or khaki box leather and in natural, slow-tanned vegetable Bastin leather with contrasting topstitching, designed to be worn around the neck.

The Weston x Uniforme 180 "Wanderer" moccasin will be available for pre-order in three Weston stores in Paris (Champs-Elysées, Saint-Honoré and the Marais) and one in Aoyama, Japan, as well as on the Uniforme e-shop (uniforme-paris.com) from October 4th to 25th, 2022. Orders will be delivered in specially designed Weston x Uniforme packaging in December 2022.
Weston x Uniforme key fobs also will be available in those Weston stores and on the Uniforme e-shop as of October 4th, 2022.
